Frozen Pipe Burst in Marysville, IN

This home experienced a frozen pipe burst above their kitchen ceiling, causing a substantial amount of damage and an excessive amount of blown in insulation cleanup. Our crews went into to remove all of the wet drywall and blown-in insulation, placed equipment to dry down the structure.  Sometimes customers complain the fans and other specialty equipment SERVPRO uses is too loud and can congest high traffic areas in their home.  Yes, we agree and understand this is a shock to daily life.  However, it is 100% necessary to perform the dryout correctly and completely before any repairs are done.  This prevents problems down the road such as mold.  The normal drying process is about 2-3 days, which in the long run is a small price to pay for the peace of mind knowing that your home is safe for you and your family.  Once SERVPRO was finished with repairs and gave the kitchen a good cleaning the customer was overjoyed.
