Burst Water heater in Guildford, IN

This call came in on a Tuesday afternoon, the homeowner discovered that morning she had no hot water, and went to the basement to discover the water heater had burst.  She quickly called SERVPRO of Madison, Lawrenceburg and Verailles to help.  Our Crew Chief Jesse loaded up the van and was on her way to the job site within the hour. We were able to extract most of the water, then we began the process of moving and drying her contents.  This basement was full, so it took 5 people 2 days to move and demo and set equipment.  But thanks to their fast response and hard work the homeowner was able to save all the contents and furniture, with very little things being thrown out.
