Vent fan fire in a log home in Jefferson County

This homeowner came home from church to discover his home full of smoke and a strong fire smell.  It was determined to be an electrical fire originating in the ceiling vent fan in the master bathroom.  Along with cleaning the entire home to get rid of the smell, SERVPRO technicians sanded and sealed the remaining wood ceiling materials to make sure all the fire odor was removed before repairs were made.
